The Truth About Fluoride
Tuesday, October 14th, 2008Fluoride is healthy! It keeps our teeth strong and prevents cavities. Therefore, we should brush our teeth with it everyday and even put it into our water so that we are absolutely certain that our teeth stay healthy.
This is perhaps one of the most unbelievable scams (there are many) of all time. In actual fact, fluoride is a highly aging toxin. It is a by-product of the manufacturing of copper, iron and aluminum. The creation of the “fluoride is good for our teeth” story, along with the mass fluoridation of water, was the answer to getting rid legally of this chemical.
The British Dental Health Foundation claims that “children living in poorer areas where the water supplies are not fluoridated can have 5 times more decay than children living in better-off or fluoridated areas (unlike the US, only a very few areas in Britain have fluoride in the water). Research suggests that adding fluoride to the water is the best way of reducing these ‘dental inequalities’.”
This is laughable! Mass fluoridation is their one step towards sorting out inequality. Surely the reason that children living in poorer areas have more tooth decay is due to the fact that they don’t have the money to buy good quality organic food and super foods and are more likely to eat cheap mass produced food that causes cavities.
If they really wanted to reduce inequality, they would be making organic food fruits and vegetables available to every single person on the planet, along with wheatgrass, spirulina, maca and goji berries, along with a safe place to live.
Does Fluoride Really Decrease Tooth Decay?
According to the largest study ever conducted on fluoridation by the National Institute of Dental Research, fluoride offers no actual benefit to the teeth. 39,000 school children were researched in 84 areas around the U.S. This study concluded that there was no statistical difference in tooth decay rates between fluoridated and non-fluoridated cities.
Some of the Possible Side Effects of Fluoride Include:
• Three studies have linked high fluoride levels with osteoporosis
• Research shows that fluoride makes the brain more likely to absorb aluminum - the substance that’s found in the brains of most Alzheimer’s patients.
• Studies have associated fluoride with joint and musculoskeletal systems.
• A number of different studies revealed a link between fluoride and up to 10,000 cancer deaths per year.
• Two studies from China show that the I.Q. of children decreased 5 - 10 points when on fluoride.
• A study at India’s Punjabi University shows that shows that fluorosis causes testicular damage, leading to infertility.
• Statistics show that younger mothers are more likely to have babies with Down’s syndrome after the fluoridation of water.
Fluoride and the Pineal Gland
The pineal gland is a small gland located between the two hemispheres of the brain that regulates the production of the hormone melatonin. Melatonin is a hormone that helps regulate the onset of puberty and helps protect the body from cell damage caused by free radicals.
According to research by Dr. Jennifer Luke at the University of Surrey in England, the pineal gland is the primary target of fluoride accumulation within the body. Both the soft tissue and the hard tissue of the adult pineal gland contain more fluoride than any other soft or hard tissue in the body.
Luke discovered that animals treated with fluoride had lower levels of melatonin. This reduced level of melatonin caused an earlier onset of puberty in the fluoride-treated female animals.
Luke summarized her human and animal findings as follows:
“In conclusion, the human pineal gland contains the highest concentration of fluoride in the body. Fluoride is associated with depressed pineal melatonin synthesis by prepubertal gerbils and an accelerated onset of sexual maturation in the female gerbil. The results strengthen the hypothesis that the pineal has a role in the timing of the onset of puberty. Whether or not fluoride interferes with pineal function in humans requires further investigation.”
The pineal gland is essential for overall hormone health. Menopausal symptoms are often down to a reduction in melatonin, as well as insomnia and depression. A healthy pineal gland is also linked to increased intuition.
